Terms and conditions of sale:
READ CAREFULLY AS IT APPLIES TO ALL & ANY TRANSACTIONS MADE:

1. It is hereby understood that nerines.com is not a commercial operation. It is solely the website name as used by a privately owned collection of nerine sarniensis. Bulbs offered for sale represent surplusses that are generated from the main collection. The whole operation is run by a complete incompetant who means well and will try hard to satisfy your every whim but is wholly unreliable and not very good when it comes to running a webshop. This applies particularly to clause 8 where efforts to get a PayPal system that does what we want it to do has been a failure.
2. The grading and pricing structures are based purely on the judgement of the owners who have applied, over the years, an arcane system of grading based on personal preferences. The price structure per bulb is as follows: 5 star = £25, 4 star = £18.50, 3 star = £12.50, 2 star = £8.50, 1 star = £6.50, See clause 5. If you are unhappy with these gradings and price judgement you can enter into lengthy, but probably, ultimately fruitless, correspondence. Each block of 7 bulbs offered for sale have been priced using these prices.
3. Whilst nerines.com uses its best endeavours to ensure that the variety of bulb is as described in the photograph, there is a small (0.05%) chance that the bulb is a seedling interloper, as not all bulbs offered for sale have been verified by flowering. Also note that nerines.com cannot guarantee flowering, as sometimes bulbs do not flower each year. However nerines.com has tried to select flowering sized bulbs for this sales offering.
4. Bulbs are only on offer to private collectors, and the purchaser by his/her act of purchase hereby confirms his/her agreement to all the terms and conditions herein. He/she agrees not to commercially replicate or seek commercial gain from any of the material, as purchased, from nerines.com.
5. The purchaser is permitted to swap, exchange or sell excess bulbs from his/her collection to other private collectors, but is hereby expressly forbidden by this agreement to do so to any commercial enterprise. This shall also apply to their heirs and assigns, and in the event of the collector's death or the break-up or giving away of their collection.
6. These plants are, mostly*, unique and are the Copyright of nerines.com. All our varieties are registered with the Registrar of Nerines with photographic identification and Nerines.com will vigorously pursue any infringement of the above**. In the event of a dispute as to the origins of a plant found to be in commercial production,  independent laboratory analysis will be used to establish DNA or a similar form of comparison and if it is found to originate from material supplied from nerines.com then expensive lawyers will be hired to sue the original purchaser.
7. To the best of nerines.com 's endeavours all bulbs allocated for sale will be disease, fungus and virus free. No refunds will be given under any circumstances. Purchasers are offered and must take the signed for with insurance on the postage (this is not optional). Bulbs have been selected on the basis that they are, in the opinion of the sellers, of merchantable quality, there is no acceptable mechanism for proving otherwise, so it is caveat emptor and E&OE.
8. All the packages are offered strictly on a first come first served basis, nerines.com will accept orders in the time and date order that they appear on the sales@nerines.com e-mail address, and on receipt of payment notification. PLEASE NOTE THAT PACKAGES CAN ONLY BE SOLD ONCE AND IT IS POSSIBLE THAT MORE THAN ONE WILL BE SOLD BETWEEN THE TIME THAT THESE PURCHASE REQUESTS ARE MADE. IF THAT HAPPENS YOUR MONEY WILL SOMEHOW BE REFUNDED. nerines.com will endeavour to remove all sold packages as soon as orders are received to avoid this confusion, but the site and e-mails are unattended during week-ends so please be aware that this will probably happen to you- all we can do is apologise in advance. (see clause 1)
9. Purchasers must add the correct postage, if postage is incorrect or not added, nerines.com will keep your money and not send your goods until postage is paid in full. The postage rates for all countries worldwide are to be found on the postage matrix page and the appropriate "add to cart" button must be pressed depending on the number of packages of bulbs bought.
10. All payments must be made in Pounds Sterling. No other currencies acceptable, all payments will be made via PayPal. If PayPal does not operate in your country then e-mail me a.s.a.p. and we will try and sort out another payment method.
11. These offers only apply from 1st June 2008- 31st July 2008 as bulbs are sent in a dormant state. All bulbs should be planted, if possible- unless you have your own tried and tested potting mix, in our recommended compost mix: 6 parts John Innes No3, 1 part course grit, 1 part Bulb Fibre, 1 part Clean Sand & (optionally) some dried cow dung. Black or green 1 litre plastic pots are also best for individual bulbs.
12. Anyone wishing to enter into a commercial arrangement for exploitation of the material should contact nerines.com directly.
*This clause only applies to Exbury/Vico Nerines
